OJS journal and search engines

Hello,

I noticed that in the search engines, when I seek for a journal I manage with OJS, the first result shown points to PKP website, not the actual journal website. Clicking on the link redirects to the PKP main page, where obviously no journal-related content/information is present. I don’t understand this linking. It’s not that I don’t want to be identified with PKP/OJS, but I don’t like this search result, pointing, through the journal title, to the PKP website, which is confusing.

Hi @piotreba,

That’s not something we have much control over and might be due to the name of your journal. Can you give me an example?
