OJS 3.2 Upgrade Error

Hello!
I’m trying to upgrade from OJS 3.1.2 to 3.2.0-3, and followed carefully (or so I think) all steps outlined in https://github.com/pkp/ojs/blob/master/docs/UPGRADE.md.

However, when I try to complete the upgrade, there is no “Upgrade” link as stated in the step “Select the “Upgrade” link and follow the on-screen instructions”.

It shows me what appears to be an installation-from-scratch page, asking for user admin name, database credentials, etc.

If I try to go on with that and put my existing username and database credentials (unchecking the option to create a new database), it gives an error:

This page isn’t working
revistademorfologiaurbana.org is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Indeed it should display the installation-from-scratch page. So that’s alright. However there should be an ‘upgrade’ chapter on it as in the screenshot below.

What you could try is set

; Default locale
locale = en_US

in config.inc.php maybe it’s just a problem of the language files not being up-to-date. If that’s not it I don’t know, sorry.

Thank you!
That was indeed the case!
Everything is working now.
