OJS 3.1.2 Suggest a username for new reviewer outputs "uundefined"

When I am creating new reviewer, I enter the Given name and Family name regularly, then when I click on Suggest button to have the username field automatically filled i get: uundefined (with double u)

Someone help me fix this?
On my another 3.2.1. installation on the same server, with the same php version, this bug does not happen.

That’s OJS 3.1.2, I presume, not 3.2.1?

Hi @dijana,

I can make a guess that this problem is related to the database encoding. Can you recheck it?
Also it may be useful to look at PHP error logs, try to capture associated errors there if they exist.
