In the submission workflow there are four stages: submission, review, coypediting and production. In the production stage when you have a ready article, you choose the issue where article will be published by selecting the “schedule for publication” button. See the last screenshot here: https://pkp.gitbooks.io/ojs3/content/en/production.html

How to fix this?
Hi, @ajnyga
I am using OJS 3.2. I have installed Forthcoming article in Generic Plugins, but that is not working on this version. Could you please resolve this issue. Your plugin is very interesting and helpful for the journal.
Thanks in advance
Best Regards,
Shahid Asghar
Hi @shahidasghar90,
you do not have appropriate version of plugin. Try with different plugin which you can find.
Regards,
Lazar
Hi @Lazar_Stosic @ajnyga
I have uploaded again a new version but not anywhere seen online checkbox. you can see in Picture.

Hi,
Will the plugin work with 3.1.2.4?
Installed this plugin, but checkbox to mark an article as forthcoming is not appearing anywhere in the Schedule article page. The forthcoming article page (…journalname/forthcoming), display following:
Unrecognized DAO PublishedArticleDAO!
Any solution?
Hi, I have the same issue reported by pattu. With version OJS 3.2.0.2 when I add the link to view the forthcoming article I see the error:
Unrecognized DAO PublishedArticleDAO!
Do you have any update?
Thanks,
Marcella
please someone help this error. i got this message to with OJS 3.2.1-1
Hi,
As far as I know, this plugin still needs to be updated in order to become compatible with OJS 3.2.x.
Regards,
Dear @ajnyga, we would be really obliged, if you could give us even some vague idea of when you might update the plugin, and whether you plan to continue working on it at all. Thank you for all your efforts anyway!
Hi, we are upgrading to OJS 3.2 during autumn so I will be updating the plugin soon. Sorry for the delay. The thing is that OJS has changed so much between the versions that I have to rewrite the whole thing. I am also hoping that I could add support for DOIs, but have to see if it is possible. The problem there is OJS is based on the concept that all published articles always belong to a specific issue and that issue has to be published.
Hi @kksabu,
I’m just paging @ajnyga here, in case he is able to provide an update around his plugin.
Best regards,
Roger

The plugin does not support 3.2+
I have rewritten the whole plugin for 3.2 that we use now in our own platform and will release it in github very soon. The plugin works differently now, you can read how it works here: This plugin might not work on OJS 3.2. Is there any solution for this. · Issue #6 · ajnyga/forthcoming · GitHub
It actually supports also DOIs and statistics now.
