How do I notify users when an new article is published? New Volumes are notified, but I can’t see how articles can be.

I didn’t check that, but I believe any registered user should be notified by default. Anyway, (s)he can always set up notifications in his/her profile (Notifications tab).
Also, I know the subscription functionality is being prepared…
Thanks for your reply. The notifications tab options only appear to relate to submission and reviewing events, not publication. All are set for notification, but no notification is received on publication of new articles. What is the subscription functionality? Is there any way for the editor to push notification manually to users?
