Hi, yesterday I have noticed while registering reviewers that when you pick a template from drop down menu message text doesn’t change. I don’t know if this is a bug, is it localized on our server, or it should be like that (don’t see a point in having drop down menu if you can’t change it). For some reason I can’t upload pictures.

I see that there are some other errors that if I recall correctly are here from OJS 3 and that are related to open based directory, is there away to resolve them, I realized that we got 9MB of error log with just one error type in it.
In Browser (Chrome) in console i get one warning:

Funny thing here is that when I assign someone to workflow for submission lets say technical editor and choose predefined template “A message regarding…” text in box changes to “Please enter your message.” If I change template to something else it stay on that one sentence.

Can you try turning off the enable_minified option in config.inc.php and reloading that page, to see if it changes the behavior or error message?

You should be able to resolve those warnings by patching issue #1902. Have you checked your JS error log for anything different?

Regarding issue #1902, when I apply patch I get error page

I think I have found the error (OJS 3.0)
OJS does not use the correct way to send the text to the editing frame from tinymce.
So in some situations the text was not arriving in sync and was disregarded.

Congratulations on the launch; the journal looks great!
It’s always a risk when customizing the system that you’ll make it difficult to upgrade later; when we customize OJS installations we use plugins where possible (e.g. theme plugins for layout customization), and we track the changes using git so that we can replay them on new versions. It’s not perfect but it’s a lot easier than trying to remember all the changes you made.
