I thought this problem was solved, but somehow it’s creeped up again. I tried to edit a user profile, to change their e-mail address (ex.: user@gmail.com) and the form is identifying it as an invalid address.
I can’t seem to find where is the validation in order to check what’s happening.

What specific version of OJS are you using? (Please include this with each post.)
What is the specific message you’re getting when you try to change the email?

It’s OJS 2.x (latest version).
It’s the validation of e-mail address in user profile.
Something like user@gmail.com is not accepted.
(Un)Fortunately, something happened and now we managed to edit the user profile. Since we copy-pasted the email address received, maybe a strange character was brought in the first time.
However, it’s very strange…
