OJS 2.4.8 stats for non public journal

Hi OJS community,

I have created a journal which is not publicly visible. I would like to upload some pdf documents and send the url of the PDFs to some users. Will I be able to export statistics or OJS will not count any stats because the journal is not public?

Hi @an75824,

OJS will count readership statistics for anyone who is able to read the document. I would suggest making sure that your readers are able to read the document by e.g. viewing the site without an active login.

thanks a lot for your reply. Yes, it will be available to everyone without requiring registration, login etc.
