the download process crashed for Microsoft word files that uploaded by the author in the review process. would you please help me? my ojs is 2.4.8

Hi @draak,
It is likely that something is getting added accidentally to the file when it is downloaded. I would suggest using a binary editor to compare the downloaded file against the original; look in particular at the start of the file to see if extra whitespace was added or something similar. If you’re able to identify a change in the file, it will help to identify what to look for in your installation.

when I use google chrome I can download and the files open correctly with some errors. But I can not download via Safari due incomplete download. This problem is only for “In Review” articles. would you please help me?

It looks like your source code has been modified (incorrectly) to add advertisements. If you’re not sure where the code has been modified, you’ll have to search it using a tool on the server such as “grep”.
