Does anyone know if OJS 2.4.8-2 is compatible with PHP 7?
Thanks @bozana.
I saw this and thought it was updated.
OJS 3 does not have subscriptions in place. The journals use subscription. I am still hoping that institutional usage stats will some day make its way into OJS. Institutions want to see their usage stats.

Hi @newone
Yes, I hope that too, but please be patient i.e. have understanding that we have so much other things with higher priorities at the moment…
Best,
Bozana
Do you have a page that details the priorities of OJS? Or what features OJS is working on?
Authors want to see their stats. Authors want people to see their article stats. There is no way to show stats of articles without modifying OJS or contacting the journal manager. OJS already collects article stats, so it is not clear why journal managers do not have flexibility in deciding what type of stats are shown, and second, to determine whether they want to show or hide stats in the first place.
On institutional stats, those that subscribe to journal want to see stats for their institutional use. This is something that libraries are requesting. If OJS is aiming for a wide adoption, it really should try to provide this functionality.
The other basic functionality is the ability for journal managers to offer a range of subscription models that works for their journals and its readers.
After all, we all want OJS to excel.
