OJS-2.4.7.1 Proxy Journal Issue

I have a journal that is currently test.journalhosting.ucalgary.ca.
I currently have ucalgary.ca/test being redirected to the journal.
We tried to get test.ucalgary.ca but was denied.
So our IT people want me to proxy ucalgary.ca/test to test.journalhosting.ucalgary.ca.

I am trying to figure out what the new URL will look like as well as if there are issues that I will need to deal with to get the proxy to work. I guess the other question is can I use proxy?

Hi @EdwardDavid,

As far as I know, you should be able to use a proxy – but the details will depend on your proxy. For example, is it an HTML rewriting proxy? Does it manage cookies transparently? And so on.
