OAI base url validation error

Hi!

We are trying to get our journal ( Journal of preventive Medicine and Hygiene - www.jpmh.org) indexed using OAI base url in OJS setup

http://www.jpmh.org/index.php/jpmh/oai

we tried some sites ( OAISTER , openarchives.org ecc…) but validation fails everytime in ListRecords verb

Any suggestion?
thanks a lot for your help

Hi @jpmh_2015,

You appear to have some invalid UTF-8 content; the publisher institution seems to have an invalid character in it.

Thank You Alec!
but:
what do you mean exactly with “publisher institution”? Anything in article database? We recovered about 400 articles/issues from 2006 during migration o to OJS ( with XML import procedure ).

Hi @jpmh_2015,

Check the “Institution” field in Journal Setup, step 1. It’s probably been pasted from another source that had invalid content; I’d suggest deleting and re-typing its value, even if that doesn’t appear to change anything in your browser.

Hi Stefano,
I found today the same problem.
OJS URL of the journal (https://obzornik.zbornica-zveza.si:8443/index.php/ObzorZdravNeg/oai) failed when doing a test for adding it to repositoy OAISTER.

Did you solve the problem? Can you give me some suggestion?

Hi @martinca,

That doesn’t show any failures – I’m not sure what undefined means in this case; you’ll have to ask the maintainer of the validation tool.
