Good afternoon, I hope you are well, I have a question if someone can help me.
Is the number of article downloads stored in a database table? If so, could you tell me which table, please?
regards,
Hi @gmorales,
What version of OJS are you using? (Please include this in your posts.)

Hi, @asmecher
I’m very sorry about the delay, the version we use is 3.1.0.1

Hi @gmorales,
The number of downloads is calculated from the metrics
table.

hi @asmecher, thanks for your answer
So first I have to go to the statistics in the “statistics” module, then to the “Custom Report Builder” to generate the report, then I can check the information in the database.
my idea is to rescue the download quantity (quantity and item name) using sql commands, is it possible? If I don’t generate the statistics through this module, won’t I get information?
thanks for your time,
Regards
Hi @gmorales,
The “Custom Report Builder” doesn’t create content in the metrics
table – it uses the existing contents to generate a report with custom columns. If the data isn’t already in the metrics
table, the Custom Report Builder won’t help you, I’m afraid.
