National Library of the Netherlands e-depot

I have been thinking about digital preservation strategies - we have our own national library of course and I’m looking forward to PKP’s LOCKSS coming to OJS3, but I have also been looking at other options.

I was looking through the keeper’s registry and saw that the National Library of the Netherlands (KB) provides an e-depot system for international publishers. However, they require bulk content and metadata registration and say they don’t take single journals. The archive operates as a light archive for open access content and as a dark archive for subscription content.

Would it be possible to organise a PKP/OJS partnership with KB to deposit articles and metadata in their light archive? Perhaps this could be an extension of PKP PN where open access journals can also opt for the bulk archiving of their content with KB’s e-depot?
