The problem is that after a successful registration a new author is seeing the “What would you like to do next?” page with the links to making a new submissions and some others, but if he clicks on “Make a New Submission” link, a message appears “No journal in context!”. Not a too nice way to treat a new author, presuming authors might be middle-aged or older and often not to be going along well with computers.
What would you suggest to be the best decision? Remove the link to the new submission from the userRegisterComplete.tpl template? What would then be the best practise of modifying a template and not making the future update process too complex?
