I published an article and then went back and changed the references in the metadata and then saved the metadata. Now the metadata looks ok in the edit pages but for the public the metadata references are still the one prior to the edit. I emptied all caches in the site settings. Any other ideas please?

The Citation Assistant is supposed to process citations behind the scenes when they are updated. Check again and see if they’ve been updated. If not, try deleting the contents of the processes table in your database, edit, and save the references again.
