Maybe 2.4.8 is better?

Hi, all!
I’ve installed for the test OJS 3.1.2, 3.1.2-1, 3.1.2-2, 3.1.2-3.
Every version contains the bugs in the multilanguage site.
Maybe any old version is more stable :?)
2.4.8.-5 ?

Which bugs? Missing translations? These can be added easily.

We have migrated a multi-journal multilanguage site last summer to OJS 3.1.2-1 . The advantages of version 3 prevail over 2.4.8 (modern and responsive GUI, easier administration, easier publishing workflow). We would never go back.

Hi, @mpbraendle !
zB, in OJS 3.1.2-1: Principal contact has two language positions for Title and one - for Name.
Technical Support Contact - only one for both.
It looks so (in English):

Hi @Spaik,
even though the problem you report regarding title positions in zB might exist, I think you should consider other pros and cons of OJS 3 vs OJS 2.4. There are huge differences between them.
At UNLP, Argentina, we used OJS 2.4. for 7 or 8 years to manage about 15 journals, and we migrated in 2016 to OJS 3.0. We are now managing more than 60 journals, and we are definitely not going back.
Language issues have existed, exist and will always exist, as it happens in most open source community driven projects. But I don’t think that’s a reason to stay behind.
