Dear (Single-Source) Publishing enthusiasts,
we warmly invite you to the kickoff meeting of the revived Single-Source Publishing Community, featuring a keynote presentation by Axel Dürkop (Hamburg University of Technology TUHH).
The Single-Source Publishing Community brings together editorial users and developers. Through monthly meetings, it offers a space for exchange and collaboration on all aspects of single-source publishing, including featuring new ideas, workflows, and best practices.
Beyond technology, the community focuses on collaboration: reducing communication gaps between roles, sharing proven workflows, supporting institutions in establishing best practices, and helping participants integrate new methods over time. Altogether, making diamond open access publishing more sustainable, interoperable, and practical.
Who this community is for:
- Editorial and publishing teams
- Developers and infrastructure practitioners
- Institutions exploring modern publishing workflows
- Anyone interested in independent, standards-driven publishing approaches
- The community is open to both newcomers and experienced experts. No registration is necessary.
This revival of the Single-Source Publishing Community is supported by the German Diamond OA Capacity Hub (SeDOA) and organizes itself in the European Diamond Capacity Hub forum.
