Issues upgrading from OJS 2.3.1 to 3.2.1-4

Hi, everyone.

I recently upgraded an old OJS 2.3.1 all the way up to 3.2.1-4, the process require to upgrade first to 2.3.6 and then to 2.4.8 before going to 3.2, and I made sure that every upgrade finished with no error messages.

By now I checked and there are some DOI missing in several articles, the weird thing is that the data is in the database, but somehow is not shown in the article view, nor in the dashboard when I check out the data of the article.

On the other hand, some of the pages in the website are very, very slow, even when the server resources are very good.

I found too that when attempting to use Re-Captcha, the registration takes so long, that Re-Captcha check expires, so is not possible to complete the process.

I checked out the php error log, and I found the following:

If you have previously backup the database version 2.3.1. I suggest you to re-upgrade the process from 2.4.8 to 3.1.2.4 first.
if the upgrade is successful, make sure that no issues are found in the OJS 3.1.2-4 version.
After that you can continue upgrading to version 3.2.1.4
