Is there an easy way to export journal data to KBART format?

I’ve got an aggregator asking for info about our stable of OJS journals in KBART format. Does anyone have advice on how to do this beyond filling out a spreadsheet manually?

Hi Tomasz,

at University Libarary Heidelberg my co-worker @cotte developed a plugin for this (OJS verson 3.2.x and WIP for OMP 3.3.x and 3.4.x).
We are testing it currently (URL to a KBART file):
https://journals.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/index.php/index/kbartexport

Code is at Github: GitHub - UB-Heidelberg/kbartExport: The KBART Export Plugin for OJS and OMP enables exporting metadata of all journals hosted in a given instance or press as .txt file in KBART format.

thank you, I’m looking forward to trying this out!

Hello @nweiher and @cotte,

we would greatly appreciate a KBART plugin, thanks for that.
I see it is still under development on github. Are you planning to release a fully developed version?
Is it possible to use the current dev version already?

Hi @ohilbig01 ,

the plugin should be working for OJS 3.2. I will check with my colleague if the code on Github is the latest version. He was also developing a version for 3.4, but we skipped 3.3, but the changes should not be much.

Best wishes,

Nils

Hi @nweiher,

thank you! If I understand it correctly, the two dev branches are basically already done and would only need to be adapted to OJS/OMP 3.3 or 3.4? Is that right?
