Hi All,
Recently, new user registrations have been made to our journal using specific email domains, and unwanted submissions are being uploaded. When I examined the email addresses used by the authors of these spam emails, I saw that some email domains such as mailto.plus were being used. These users pass/complete the email verification step, and make unsolicited submissions.
When I make search about mailto.plus, I came across an expression like this: Emails from mailto.plus are generated by a throwaway email service and should not be trusted for user registrations or account verification. Website administrators are advised to block this domain.
Is it possible to prevent user registration with these email domains, either from within OJS or through another method?
