Hi, i’m newby. I try to install ojs but always i receive
Errors occurred during installation
The directory specified for uploaded files does not exist or is not writable.
I try to install on italian Aruba.it, I created
www.mydomain.net/mytemdir
that is 777 open.
Sorry, but this error block all my work.

Please read the installation instructions. The error is pointing to the directory for uploading users files. Beside the base directory for the OJS you have to create also upload directory and make sure to set proper permissions.

Resolved.
Aruba gives a root, but I had to add on the left
**/web/htdocs/**www.mydomain.net/home/mydir
Not so easy to guess. But very well hidden it was on the documentation
