Information block does not appear on the frontpage of OJS 3.0.1

I set up in Administration/Site settings that in the sidebar that information block will be present. The information block is present only on front pages of journals but not on front page of the whole system. is that intended so?

The site-wide homepage will have a different sidebar configuration than each journal. Adding a configuration tool to the site-wide settings form is in progress and will be released with the next OJS: Add Sidebar Management to site settings for multi-journal installs · Issue #1859 · pkp/pkp-lib · GitHub
