Implementing Freemium (charging for PDFs but not for HTMLs) in OJS?

Is it possible to implement in OJS a Freemium model as described here:

Essentially having HTML free for everybody, but charging access for PDFs, EPUBs, etc.?

Hi @helpapparatus,

Look in the newest release of OJS (starting with v3.1.0) for an option labeled “Only Restrict Access to PDF version of issues and articles”. I don’t believe this has received a lot of uptake yet, so feel free to test whether it works for your journal and report your results here.
