Images in HTML galleyes

We’re running OJS 3.1.1.4 with HTML galleys. Filtered html files are generated from doc files in word. However, images added through the “edit galley” functionality. When papers are published images do not show up and I can’t really see what to do about it. Some help would be highly appreciated.
