I have seen this post about making a custom block only visible on some pages: Is there a way to make a block (or custom block plugin) visible only on journal homepage?
What would be even better would be to be able to specify on which page(s) AND in which place (main content or sidebar) each block was visible. Like Drupal does, if anyone is familiar wth Drupal.
Is there any intention to add this functionality?

I agree this would be a nice feature, but there is no current plan to include it in the a future release of OJS. If we get enough requests for it, it could be added.

You could add text to a particular page by modifying the custom block plugin to add the functionality you’re looking for or creating a custom child theme. All of this would involve custom coding. I’m sorry there is not an easier way to do it.
