How to install OJS on Windows Server

Hello Dear,

We are trying to install existing OJS on Windows, before this we were running on Linux server, now copied code and files folder and shifted to Windows Server. Changes Hostname in the config file but still facing an error : 500 Internal Server Error. I don’t know to solve this, I am totally new with Windows Server, till date my site was in PHP but new site developed in .net so must require moving on the .net server.

Hi @ierj,

What version of OJS are you using? (Please include this in your posts.)

Have you checked your system’s PHP error log? There should be details there.

Hi @ierj,

That looks like your Apache error log, which is probably different than your PHP error log.

Dear @asmecher

Please guide me how to solve this issue? we are really in hurry.

Hi @ierj,

You’ll need to find your PHP error log; its location will depend on your server’s configuration.
