How to disable ‘Choose Section’ in Submit form (OJS3)?

Hi,

If we only have one section on our journal, is it possible to disable the ‘Choose Section’ dropdown during article submission?

This was possible in the previous OJS version if no other sections existed (e.g. see https://forum.pkp.sfu.ca/t/how-to-disable-choose-section-in-submit-form-ojs/16414) but I do not see the option in OJS3.

If this is not possible is it possible to a) hardcode b) default the dropdown the only section existing or c) default it to the only section and hide it (via css or js)

Hi @colinl,

That change has already been made for the next release (which will be OJS 3.1), but in the meantime you should be able to apply this change to OJS 3.0.2.
