How to cope with large supplementary files?

Dear community,

do you have any experiencies with large supplementary files? Do you use Zenodo or other (public) repositories to upload your supplements and put a link as a “external galley”?

Yes, whenever the supplementary files are too large to be uploaded in OJS, we use the “This galley will be available at a separate website.” option instead. See for example: Long short-term memory networks enhance rainfall-runoff modelling at the national scale of Denmark | GEUS Bulletin where Dataverse is used as an external repository.
