Hello. I would kindly ask for your help if you have experience in assigning DOI numbers in OMP for new editions of monographs.
Namely, when I prepare a new edition in OMP, the page of the first edition is essentially cloned.
Most of the data can be changed and adapted to the new edition, but the option in the DOI number settings remains the same for both editions.
So when I change the DOI number to the new one for the 2nd edition, the DOI number displayed for the 1st edition also changes.
Is there a solution here to have each edition display its own DOI number?
On this occasion, I would also like to ask if there has been a solution found yet, how to completely delete the newly created 2nd edition, if it was created by mistake?
