How automatic email will be sent to the journal manager address when authors submit the article in OJS 3.1.2.1?

OJS 3.1.2.1 I am using is not sending copy to the email address provided even though I enabled Send a copy option, but it sends an acknowledge email to the author

Please note that the version of OJS that you’re using is no longer supported by PKP. I recommend that you upgrade to the newest version of OJS, as it is possible that your issue will be resolved by upgrading. However, other community members may wish to offer assistance.

I upgraded to 3.3.0.15 the latest version but still unable to send an automatic email.

You’ll want to ensure that you have email configured properly (this guide also provides some troubleshooting tips): https://docs.pkp.sfu.ca/admin-guide/en/deploy-email - ensuring that your configuration is correct, and that you have tried some of the troubleshooting options will be good first steps.
