Hide some submissions until a date

Hello,

We have a journal in which some authors or reviewers become editors.

The editor-in-chief wants these editors not to be able to see all submissions until a certain date - the date they become editors.

Do you have any ideas on how to address this request?

Can you please indicate your version number (e.g. 3.3.0-11) - please include this with your posts as it assists with troubleshooting. I do suspect that OJS doesn’t have this feature, but I will check to be sure.

We want to use 3.3.0-10 or the future 3.4, but for now we are installing 3.1.x.
I think OJS doesn’t have this feature, but if anyone has had such a request, I’m curious about the solution.

Hi @kara28,

Thanks for clarifying. Please note that 3.1 is no longer supported by PKP. I recommend that you upgrade to the newest version of OJS. Upgrading instructions are available in the PKP Administrator’s Guide and as part of our Upgrade Guide.

Information about the latest version of OJS can be found on the PKP Website
That said, I don’t think this feature exists in OJS, but if you would like, you can create a post as a feature request post here on the forum, and explain your use case in more detail there.
