Has anyone used the DOAJ Plugin? Our journal is registered on the DOAJ site, but we don’t have article metadata on it. If you used the plugin, was it just a matter of entering the API key you found on the OJS site? I don’t have much experience with APIs, or a lot of additional time, so I am just wondering if this is relatively simple. Does the plugin automatically deposit the data on the DOAJ site? Or does it give you a file, then you have to go to the DOAJ site and upload it?
OJS says, “If you would like to register articles from within OJS, please enter your DOAJ API Key. Else, you’ll still be able to export into the DOAJ XML format but you cannot register your articles with DOAJ from within OJS. You will find your API key on your DOAJ user page.”
