my colleagues think about the establishment of a new journal focusing on systematic reviews in agriculture, plant science and biotechnology. My institution has an OJS installation for multiple journals. Therefore, it is no problem to create a new journal.
However, the management of systematic reviews is a bit different to the management of conventional articles or narrative reviews. Here, we will have a review protocol first that shall be published with its own DOI. Later on, the systematic review will be published under the same title, with its own DOI again. Furthermore, systematic reviews are continually updated, producing several versions of one publication.
Is there somebody having some experience in managing systematic reviews by OJS?
