Generic plugin Funding data: Funding data is not being sent to Crossref

We are using OJS 3.3.0.10, the CrossRef XML Export Plugin and the Generic Plugin “Funding data” which displays the funder (taken from the crossref registry) on the article page.

After depositing articles, when checking the metadata json on crossref.org there is no section regarding funding data. It thus seems that the funding information is not being deposited.

I wonder if anyone else has come across this issue and how to solve it.

This is the funding plugin that you’re using: GitHub - ajnyga/funding: Integrates Crossref Funder registry to OJS3 and OMP3?

If you scroll down a ways you can see how the funding data gets displayed/entered - is your funding data showing up like this on your site? Could you provide a link/screenshot perhaps?

Yes, that’s the plugin. The funding data appears on the website correctly.

And it seems that the funding data gets transmitted to crossref as well – I was getting confused because I couldn’t see the funding section in the html head.

Of course, if the article is deposited and then the funding data is added, one has to update the article on crossref.
