Full text URL for Crossref similarity check service

Hi, we are adopting crossref DOIs, and we want to apply to similarity check service too.
To be eligible for the service, Crossref asks to begin registering content and including the full-text URL in metadata. Once that is done, then is possible to apply for the Similarity Check service, receive some iThenticate login, and then begin using the OJS iThenticate plugin to check the incoming manuscripts.

Question is: how OJS send to crossref (within the DOI deposit) the full-text URL needed to be eligible for similarity check? It is included in standard data send with crossref plugin? The OJS plagiarism plugin is needed only to check manuscripts?
We are using OJS 3.2.1.2

Best regards
Stefano

Hi, we understood that the full-text URL is included in metadata that Crossref XML plugin send to Crossref for registration.
After some registrations we became eligible for the service (at least 90% of full text URL on totally registered DOIs is required), but after that Crossref notified that some articles were registered without full text URL.
Now we are trying to understand why those articles went to crossref without the full text URL (they are articles from a journal that registered DOIs with full text URL…)…
Someone has some hint?
Best regards
Stefano

Hoping someone can respond as I have the same question.

I’m currently applying for similarity Check as well, it seems there’s an error in how the article data is fed into Crossref using the CrossRef XML Export Plugin, where it directs to a article/download/xxx.pdf instead of the article/view/xxx.pdf URL
that’s perhaps something that the export plugin should comment on and fix.
