First time DOI assigning for the latest issue of an old journal

Dear OJS team

I am willing to assign doi first time for the latest issue of an esteemed old journal.
Crossref has been issued a prefix for the same.
I want to assign the DOI from the latest issue and future issues only, not the old issues.

Kindly suggest me the procedure for the setup of DOI.

Kindly also provide a web link of the literature/ manual for the doi setup in OJS system.

Hi @ganeshsharma,

Before starting to work with DOIs, I strongly suggest upgrading to a newer release of OJS – either the latest 2.4.x, or if you’re ready for it, OJS 3.x.
