File submissions problem

Hi there.

I’m working as an editor for a journal that publishes through OJS and we’re currently unable to upload any files to the system (including .doc, .docx, and PDF). We aren’t getting any error messages - it just returns us to the same screen without having uploaded the file. This is affecting all sections of the journal, including new submissions, reviewers’ reports, and copy-editing. Nothing wrong with file size

I was wondering if you were able to offer any advice.

Hi @gougowith,

Check the correctness of the files_dir setting in config.inc.php, and ensure that the file permissions set on that directory are correct. (There’s more information on file permissions in the FAQ.)
