Field 'References' doesnt show on the submission form even if enabled - OJS3

It does not appear in the submission form at all

Any clue why is this happening? Weve recently updted to version 3.1.1.0 from 3.1.0.0. All the other problems have been solved but this one.

Is your user enrolled as an author? If not (e.g. if they’re an editor but not an author), this may be related to changes introduced with citations parsing by line · Issue #3028 · pkp/pkp-lib · GitHub.

Ive been doing quick submissions and it wasnt necessary to have the author role in the previous version.
