I have a question about how the “Extract and save references” feature works. We have not used this feature before, but since we are now using both the crossref export plugin and the DOI plugin, we are considering using it to improve the readability of the references of our articles for indexing services.
What we do not like is that the bibliography is displayed in full on the article page below the abstracts, etc. So we would like to use this feature to improve our indexing, but not to list our references separately.
Hence my (perhaps odd) question: Is it possible to disable the bibliography in the templates (Child-Theme)? Or would then the “Extract and save references” feature not work at all?
