Error in page admin

Dear Sir/Madam,

Can you help me at my OJS here (site administration), https://ojs.upj.ac.id/index.php/index/admin, the logo or header page was enlarged and covered the existing menu choices. How do we discard or restore the original menu, or remove this header?

Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards

Hi @wayansuparta,

You’ve uploaded an image to journal setup that’s simply too big; you’ll need to scale it down e.g. using image editing software and upload it again.

Dear Alec,

Howewer, I cannot change it due to the menu not seen and was covered by the picture. Once again, my problem is cannot find the main menu due the figure is too big.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi @wayansuparta,

Ah, I see. One quick option: use your browser’s “Inspect” tool. On Firefox, you can right-click on the logo, then click “Inspect”. This will take you to the HTML markup for the image. Double-click on the height attribute and change it to 1. This will shrink the image so that you can navigate. (You’ll have to do this every time you navigate to a new page, but you should be able to get into setup without too much difficulty.)

Dear Alec,

It was done. Thank you for the kind assistant. But I don’t know why the logo cannot change with the new one. The logo here is the old one, https://ojs.upj.ac.id/index.php/index/admin/index. I try to change the logo to a new one but always return to the old logo.

Thank you again for your kind assistance.

Hi @wayansuparta,

Two things to check: first, make sure your browser cache is flushed. If that doesn’t work, make sure that your file permissions in the public directory of your OJS installation permit OJS to change the contents.
