Dear PKP team,
We are experiencing an issue when using the Portico plugin in OJS to export a journal issue that includes an MP3 file as a separate galley.
When we attempt the export, OJS returns an error and does not generate the XML file. We suspect the issue may be related to the MP3 galley, as other issues without media files export correctly. I’ve attached a screenshot of the error for reference.
We understand from Portico that the plugin should be able to include supplementary media files (e.g., MP3s) within the <supplementary-material> element, and that the file should be placed in the same folder with the PDF galley and metadata. This seems consistent with our setup, but the export still fails.
We are currently using:
OJS version: 3.3.0.20
Portico plugin version: V1.1.2.2
Has anyone encountered a similar issue or knows whether there are limitations with exporting multimedia files using the Portico plugin?
Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
