Error due to fc-journalSettings-3.php

OJS V2.4.5 collapsed with Error 500 due to the following error

[23-Feb-2017 11:36:40 Europe/Madrid] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '‘El env’ (T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE) in /home/urgcnwev/public_html/aeet-rel/cache/fc-journalSettings-3.php on line 361

As I read in other posts I deleted fc-journalSettings-3.php file and now OJS is running.

What I cannot understand from the other post is what produced this error I how can I prevent to reproduce in the future.

Hi @Erick,

Are you using “unsafe” file permissions in cache/ (like 777), and/or is your server using mod_php to execute PHP scripts? Next time you see this, save the problematic file rather than just deleting it.

No unsafe file permission in cache
Regarding the mod_php I am not sure I have to ask.
I save the problematic file I will send it to you via gmail as I cannot upload it in this discution.

Just deleting the file.
