Error 500 on ijhei.com – Urgent Support Required

My hosted journal website, https://ijhei.com, is currently showing an HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error) when trying to access the homepage and all subpages. I expected the journal website to load normally for authors, reviewers, and editors.

Steps I took leading up to the issue:

  1. Opened the browser and navigated to https://ijhei.com
  2. Page failed to load and returned “HTTP ERROR 500”
  3. Checked on different browsers and devices – same issue
  4. Attempted to access the admin dashboard – also unavailable

What application are you using?
Open Journal Systems (OJS) – version likely 3.3.0-4

Additional information:
No recent updates or changes were made manually to the files or plugins
Kindly investigate and advise how to resolve this urgently, as the journal site is used by active contributors.

Hi @vaibhav_sharma, have you reached out to the host of your journal? It looks like the domain and/or the URL settings in your config.inc.php file may be configured incorrectly, but this is something your journal host/system administrator should be able to check.

Please check the PHP error log, as it will assist you in diagnosing the error.
