The “ensuring a blind review” link in OJS3 can be seen by authors when submitting a paper. However, it does not include accurate and up to date information, at least regarding Mac versions of Word. It does not seem that even a logged in administrator can change the text that appears to authors.
I suggest changing it to something like:
"With Microsoft Office documents, author identification should also be
removed from the properties for the file. The procedures are different
for PC users and Mac Users.
FOR PC USERS: Click File > Save As > Tools > Security > Remove
personal information from file properties on save > Save."
FOR MAC USERS: Click Tools (on the top bar)>Protect Document>Scroll
down to Privacy>Check box for “Remove personal information for this
file on save">Save>OK>Save.”
At least these instructions apply for Microsoft World for Mac Version 15.36.
