Editorial Staff Role

In most publications in the world, there is a person who, as a journalist employee, has a duty to check the status of papers and inform the editor every day.
This person is not able to do any work or change the status of articles, and is known in most systems by the name Editorial Staff or Editorial Assistant.

I want to know if there is such a role in the OJS system?

Hi @mbabaei,

The closest role in OJS would be one of the assistant roles (e.g. Copyeditor, though you can create/customize your own). This role typically takes an active role in the submission, however, so it might have more abilities than the role you describe.

Can you suggest any role which can upload the papers for publication but not allowed to change in other content?
