Editing publication date on OMP

Hi everyone.

I’ve been searching and it appears that there is no way to manually set the publication date of a submission in OMP.
As long as I want to show some old books in my press catalog, this is a problem because the date is gonna be set in the current date.

I think maybe I can code some rutine to set the dates in the published_submissions table, it can be done in a plugin?, there is a better way?

I’ve filed this at Publication date cannot be set via UI · Issue #2816 · pkp/pkp-lib · GitHub – meanwhile, I’d suggest setting these via the database for old content.

@DiegoG just following up to say that the option to edit the publication date has been merged into the development code and is expected to go out with the next version of OMP.
