DSpace connection

Hello,

In our journal we use DSpace as a repository for articles (is mandatory by our country laws having an open repository for the articles). Now we use the remote galley option in OJS por link the pdf in OJS with the one in DSpace and that’s the only connection between the two platforms.

I think it would be great to increase the connection possibilities between both platforms in another ways. e.g. embed statistics from DSpace into OJS, …

I don’t know if this case happens in other journals.

Hi @alonsoj,

Typically people will deploy OJS and a repository so that they’re quite separated, and use something like the SWORD plugin to facilitate automatic deposits from OJS into the repo. Normally OJS will host its own content separately from the repository. But there are of course many ways of deploying a suite!
