That’s not something OJS would be adding. I’d suggest asking your service provider.

With the help of https://openjournalsystems.com we realized the problem started after we updated to the newest version of OJS and updated some of our plugins. The most interesting part is it only was happening to DOI deposits from the switch from OJS 2.x to OJS 3.0.2 that we completed in 2017 to the last update to the newest version 3.1.2.1. To fix the problem we went to the CrossRef Plugin and simply clicked on the check boxes and redeposited the DOI’s. Hope this helps someone else down the road.
