DOI plugin does not seem to work correctly

Hello!
I want to show the DOIs for the articles on the journal website, but can’t figure out how to use the DOI plugin. We use the third party DOI service, so I am assigning the suffixes for the articles manually. Assigning them kinda works (i think?) because I can see the doiPrefix and doiSuffix values correctly stored in the DB, but that is as far as things get. DOIs are not shown anywhere on the journal website, and when I try to use the CrossRef XML Export, the list on the “Articles” tab is empty. How do I check if the DOI plugin even works?

Hi @Taomach,

Which version of the OJS are you using?
Also, can you please C&P screenshot of your DOI settings here?

Regards, Primoz

I am using the git snapshot of OJS (v. 3.2).2018-12-24_15-38

Hi @Taomach,

Hm, the settings look OK. Do you use default theme or something else?

Hi @Taomach,

Wait a minute? You are using OJS 3.2. That is a different story. This version is not yet released, so it is likely to have bugs. Forget about my answers, you should wait a response from developers that know the status of the code.

@Taomach what DOI prefix are you using? I want to make sure it is a Crossref prefix and not for example a DataCite prefix (disclaimer: I work for DataCite).

Best,

Martin
